Recently it feels like a new cross platform technology is being put out every year. More often than not they arrive in waves of controversy, with some developers heralding them as the future and others decrying them as tools ill fit for mature and scaled companies. As with most parts of the tech industry, the suitability of a given cross platform tool often comes down to the context in which it’ll be used. In this talk, we’ll take a look at the most common code sharing tools, focusing on the areas they excel in and the places they fall short. The purpose of this session is to give attendees the knowledge they need to decide whether a cross platform solution is right for them.
